Head of Facilities – Multi-Site Restaurant Group

London & Hybrid Salary 75k – £80k

Location: London with UK travel
Salary: £75,000–£85,000 + bonus and benefits
Working pattern: Hybrid, with regular site visits

A growing restaurant group is looking for a Head of Facilities to oversee the maintenance, compliance and operational performance of its UK estate.

Reporting into the senior leadership team, this role will take responsibility for planned and reactive maintenance across multiple restaurant sites, ensuring each location remains safe, compliant, well presented and fully operational.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading facilities management across a multi-site restaurant portfolio
  • Managing planned preventative and reactive maintenance programmes
  • Overseeing contractors, suppliers and service partners
  • Managing facilities budgets, forecasting and cost control
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety, fire safety and statutory requirements
  • Supporting new restaurant openings, refurbishments and site closures
  • Managing kitchen equipment, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and building fabric issues
  • Monitoring supplier performance against agreed service levels
  • Developing estate-wide maintenance standards and procedures
  • Working closely with Operations, Property, Procurement and restaurant management teams
  • Providing senior leadership with regular reporting on costs, compliance and estate performance
  • Leading and developing the internal facilities team

Candidate Requirements

  • Senior facilities management experience across restaurants, hotels, leisure, retail or another multi-site customer-facing business
  • Strong knowledge of statutory compliance and health and safety
  • Experience managing significant facilities budgets and national contractor relationships
  • Understanding of commercial kitchens, building services and restaurant operations
  • Experience supporting new openings, refurbishments and capital projects
  • Comfortable travelling regularly between sites
  • Strong commercial judgement and the ability to manage competing operational priorities
