A bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or a related field is often required. Some employers may accept relevant vocational qualifications or apprenticeships, but a degree can provide a competitive advantage.
Consider obtaining professional certifications from organizations like the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) or the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). These can enhance your credentials and career prospects.
